Why Nail Drills Should Not Be Used?

Here at Next Step Nail & Beauty Training we provide a high level of nail and beauty training courses throughout Norwich & Norfolk to all students and when training to be a nail technician it is essential that you understand the reasons for not using a nail drill and how damaging it can be to the natural nail.

Nail drills are designed for speed application and removal of acrylic nails or gel nail extensions but what many nail technicians do not understand or explain to their clients is the damage that these nail drills are causing.

Nail drills remove layers of the nail plate from the natural nail, by taking this away the nail bed is being exposed and openning the nail up to infections and causing it to become damaged and sore. If this is continuously carried it can result in permanent nail damage.

Next Step Nail & Beauty Training want all nail technicians to understand the damage that they can possibly cause through using a nail drill, for further information on the damage caused through using nail drills or for nail technician training please contact next step and we will be more than happy to help

What are the benefits of hot stone therapy massage?

Here at Next Sep Beauty Nail & Beauty Training we have found the benefits of hot stone massage remarkable.
Hot stones massage works ten times deeper into the layers of the muscle and skin than a normal manual massage using the hands. The heat from the Hot Stones soothes the nerve endings and relieves tension within the muscles resulting in a more relaxing and effective treatment.

Next Step Beauty use the hot stones within all luxury manicure, pedicure and facial treatments and also offer it as a stand alone treatment. The training provided by Next Step Beauty is designed for therapists already trained within massage and who are looking to develop their skills and moved forward within their career.

Hot stones are used as alternative therapy often recommended by physiotherapists and doctors to ease muscle tension and pain within areas of the body.
The general effects are:

Relaxation, muscle tension eased, increased lymphatic drainage, improved blood circulation, emotional and physical  body rebalancing, Stress relief and and sense of well being.

Next Step highly recommend  this treatment and will be more than happy to speak to therapists regarding training within the treatment. Any enquiries please visit wwwnextstepbeauty.co.uk
